PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer image receiving sheet wherein a curl preventive characteristic or the like in printing is excellent, and an image of high density and high resolution is formed by a method wherein a dye acceptive layer is formed on a base material sheet, and the base material is formed of an unoriented resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving sheet 1 formes a dye acceptive layer on a base material sheet 1, and forms the base material sheet of an unoriented resin sheet. When the image receiving sheet 1 is carried with a platen 2 and printed with a thermal head 3, in case of a printer wherein an angle made by end parts A and B of the image receiving sheet 1 becomes 90 degree or under, a curl similar to a curved face of a platen 2 is generated on the image receiving sheet 1 after forming the image, and a problem wherein the image receiving sheet 1 comes not to be of a flat state occurs. In order to solve the problem, the unoriented resin is used as the thermal transfer image receiving sheet 1. |
