<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability in facilitating maintenance and inspection operations as well as preventing any damage to equipment from occurring by making a second guide member close by itself to a first guide member in a state of unholding a second guide member being connected to this first guide member free of rocking motion in the vicinity of one way end part in the conveying direction. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a paper jam has occurred in and around a paper feed roller 30, if an upper housing is opened, an upper guide member 192 of a conveyor 190 comes to a state of being exposed. This upper guide member 192 is connected to a lower guide member 193 free of angular displacement in the vicinity of a resist roller 38. Therefore, if the exposed upper guide 192 is pulled up, the lower guide member 193 is exposed this time. If recording paper is stopped in space around the resist roller 38 by way of the lower guide member 193 from the vicinity of the paper feed roller 30, removal of the recording paper becomes facilitated. In this connection, after a paper jam is revoced, the upper guide member 192 is closed to the lower guide member without relying on itself.</p> |
