PURPOSE:To simultaneously carry out forming and packing of a cylindrical cooked rice. CONSTITUTION:This device for producing packed cylindrical cooked rice consists of a cooked rice feeder 1 for supplying each fixed amount of cooked rice stored in a hopper 11, a mold 2 which is set at the lower part of the downstream edge of the cooked rice feeder 1, slidably on a base, has a top face and a bottom face closed with the base 9, a packing sheet feeder 3 which is arranged above the mold 2 in a waiting position, approaches the mold 2 and supplied packing sheets one by one, a pressing plate 41 which is arranged liftably to the top of the mold in a waiting position and presses cooked rice fed from the top of the packing sheet to the mold 2, a folding device 7 which is set in the vicinity of the mold 2 and folds both the end parts of the packing sheets protruded from the mold 2 inwardly so that both the end parts are superimposed, a bounding device 5 for attaching the superimposed part of the packing sheet arranged above the mold in a first advancing position and a device 6 which is set liftably to the top of the mold 2 in a second advancing position and drops a cylindrical cooked rice in the mold 2 from the open bottom face of the mold 2. |
