<p>PURPOSE:To easily dispose the jammed paper without damaging it in the case where a paper jam occurres between two paper conveyor units, in a device made up of combining a paper conveyor system with two paper conveyor units. CONSTITUTION:A paper conveyor system of an image former is connected to a papercpnveyor unit consisting of a relay pass unit 10 and an aligner unit 15, and an interval between these two paper conveyor units connected by a connection unit 30 which is rockably installed in the relay pass unit 10 via a fulcrum shaft 32, and in the case where paper comes to a stop at a connection of the paper conveyor units, this connection unit 30 is rocked toward the unit 10, having a jammed paper Pg held by the paper conveyor unit on one side. In succession, the relay pass unit 10 is drawn out of a body of a copying machine, and the jammed paper is taken out of a part of the connection unit, through which a job for jam handling can be done easily.</p> |
