<p>PURPOSE:To improve the cohesion of a resist roller to copying paper, thereby preventing any skewing feed from occurring by using such a resist roller as being low in rubber hardness for at least one side of two resist rollers, while making the surface roughness of this resist roller finer than that of the paper. CONSTITUTION:Out of both upper and lower resist rollers 7 and 6, at least either of them, for example, as the lower resist roller 6, such a material as being low in rubber hardness is used for it, and surface roughness in this resist roller 6 is set to be finer than that of copying paper in time of use. With this constitution, the extent of cohesion in the resist roller to the copying paper is improved, so conveying force is increased, therefore any skewing feed of the copying paper is preventable. As for the quality of material for the resist roller, it is desirable that a range of less than 55 deg. to 65 deg. is adequate for the rubber hardness in use. In this connection, as to the surface roughness of the resist roller, it is proper to be less than 6mum.</p> |
