<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a recording material for business machine superior in ink accepting properties and sharpness of a recorded color image thereon and improved in light transmittance, water resistance, light resistance, and resistance to blocking and a production method thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a recording material for business machine provided with an ink accepting layer on a substrate, the ink accepting layer contains a high-water absorption material prepared by a graft reaction of an organic material selected out of acrylic acids and polyacrylic acids with an inorganic material selected out of inorganic alkoxides and metallic alkoxides. Additionally/ alternatively, in a recording material for business machine provided with an ink accepting layer on a substrate, the ink accepting layer contains a high-water absorption material prepared by a reaction including a graft polymerization of at least one (poly)acrylic acid selected out of a group of acrylic acids and polyacrylic acids with at least one alkoxide selected out of a group of inorganic alkoxides and metallic alkoxides.</p> |
