POLYESTER FIBER FOR RESIN-COATED FABRIC AND RESINCOATED FABRIC

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin-coated fabric free from problems due to water intrusion through the edge face or broken resin parts by coating a thermoplastic resin on a base fabric comprising waterrepellent fibers causing no interfiber water absorption due to capillarity. CONSTITUTION:In the oiling process, melt-spun undrawn polyester yarns are imparted with a spinning lubricant together with a perfluoroalkyl group-contg. compound as water repellent followed by heat treatment and drawing into polyester fibers with a tenacity of >=7g/d. Then, at least one side of the base fabric made from the polyester fibers is coated with a thermoplastic resin to obtain the objective resin-coated fabric.
