PURPOSE:To obtain a self-color-forming pressure-sensitive sheet having a good light resistance and never deteriorating in color forming properties even under daylight exposure by a method wherein in a self-color-forming pressure-sensitive recording sheet, an ultraviolet light absorber is incorporated in microcapsules by the amount two or more times that of a color former by weight. CONSTITUTION:In a self-color-forming pressure-sensitive recording sheet formed by applying a layer containing microcapsules containing a color former and a layer containing a color developer producing a color by the contact with the color former on the same surface of a substrate, an ultraviolet light absorber is incorporated in the microcapsules by the amount two or more times that of the color former by weight. An electron donative dye used as the color former is a colorless or light-colored triallylmethane dye, diphenylmethane dye, spiro dye, fluorane dye, or the like. The ultraviolet light absorber preferably has a spectral absorption in a range of 270 to 380mmu. |
