<p>PURPOSE:To effectively treat exhaust gas by a method wherein the exhaust gas discharged from a boiler is cooled after the dust in the exhaust gas is removed to be supplied to a culture treatment tank and the aeration and stirring of the liquid in the tank are performed to convert CO2 to O2 by the photosynthetic action of the aquatic plant charged in the tank and NOX in the exhaust gas is consumed as the nutrient of the aquatic plant. CONSTITUTION:The combustion gas from a boiler is supplied to a dust removing device 2 directly or through an exhaust gas desulfurization/denitration and carbon monoxide re-combustion device 20. The exhaust gas after the removal of dust is cooled to predetermined temp. by a heat exchanger 3. After the pH value of the exhaust gas passed through the heat exchanger 3 is set to a predetermined value by a pH meter 6, the exhaust gas is supplied to a culture treatment tank 8 and the water to be treated or aquatic plant supplied to the tank 8 is stirred and aerated to remove CO2, NOX, SOX in the exhaust gas supplied to the tank by the photosynthetic action of the aquatic plant. As a result, combustion exhaust gas is effectively treated to be made harmless.</p> |
