PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE PRODUCT

PURPOSE: To rapidly melt an org. material to uniformly introduce reinforcing fibers into the org. material with a small breaking rate and to decrease cost by introducing at least some of the thermoplastic org. material into an extruder in the form of continuous filaments or fibers. CONSTITUTION: A main body of an extruder 10 is provided with an opening part 14 used for feeding to the extruder on its top part. Rolls 15 for composite fibers are arranged on reels in the neighborhood of this opening part 14. These composite fibers 16 are taken out by releasing these rolls 15 and are introduced to a collecting device 17. In addition, an opening part 18 is connected with a vent pump for accelerating vent of e.g. air. An upstream region 12 and a downstream region 13 are provided and an org. material is melted in the upstream region 12 and glass fibers are compounded into the melted material. In the downstream region 13, the mixture is made uniform before being discharged through an terminal end part 19.
