PAPER PIECE CRUSHING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To crush paper pieces in a reutilizable state in a short period of time even without cutting the paper pieces to fine pieces and without using a large volume of water so that confidentiality can be maintained and the waste paper pieces can be recycled. CONSTITUTION:This paper piece crushing device 1 has a casing 2 and a pair of revolving shafts 3 revolving at the revolving speeds different from each other in the direction of rolling in the paper pieces 4. A shower pipe 8a for supplying a proper volume of water to the paper pieces 4 is provided and a discharge gate 10 which can be adjusted in opening area is provided. The peripheral surfaces of the revolving shafts 3 are projectingly provided with cutters 11 for tearing paper pieces with an inclination with the plane of the direction perpendicular to the axis and are projectingly provided with cutters 12 for crushing paper pieces in parallel with the plane of the direction perpendicular to the axis. The front ends of the cutters 12 for crushing paper pieces maintain a slight spacing with the plane of the casing 2. The paper pieces 4 are largely torn by the cutters 11 for tearing paper pieces. The paper pieces are then loosened and finely grained in a moist and condensed state by the cutters 12 for crushing paper pieces.
