PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition containing saccharide, etc., adjusted to a prescribed osmotic pressure, capable of efficiently carrying out supply of nutrition readily through oral administration in a form closed to drip administration of saccharide, etc., useful for calves, etc., lowered in physical performance due to diarrhea, etc. CONSTITUTION:This liquid feed composition contains (A) preferably 50-90wt.% (expressed in terms of dry weight) saccharide such as glucose, (B) preferably 5-30wt.% medium chain length fatty acid trigriceride and (C) preferably 5-30wt.% decomposed material of protein, e.g. a casein hydrolyzate and/or amino acids such as glyceride and has osmotic pressure adjusted to 200-450mOs m/l. Furthermore, a young ruminant lowered in physical performance is preferably bred by orally administering this composition. |
