PURPOSE:To provide an optical molding made of a copolycarbonate hardly exhibiting coloration and birefringence and excellent in moldability such as flowability and melt stability and also in clarity and mechanical characteristics and to provide an optical molding made of a copolycarbonate compsn. CONSTITUTION:An optical molding is provided which is made of a copolycarbonate obtd. by copolymerizing resorcin and/or a substd. resorcin, an arom. dihydroxy compd. other than resorcin and the substd. resorcin, and a compd. which reacts with the foregoing three dihydroxy compds. to form carbonic acid bonds. An optical molding is also provided which is made of a compsn. obtd. by compounding the copolycarbonate with additives. |
