PURPOSE:To provide a desalting method and its device for regenerating an ion exchange resin without interrupting a desalting treatment using the ion exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:Endless belts A, B consisting of an anion-exchange resin and a cation-exchange resin are used, and in an untreated water treatment tank 1, both belts A, B are allowed to run submerged. Next, the belts A, B passing through the treatment tank 1 are allowed to run independently of the other through regeneration tanks A, B respectively in a submerged state. The belts A, B are so operated as to again return to the desalting tank 1 after passing through both regeneration tanks 2, 3. Thus it is possible to regenerate the ion exchange resin without interrupting a desalting step. |
