Container characterized in that it consists of a prismatic framework of lightweight, strong material which forms an inner space with dimensions suitable for allowing the stacking, in the form of a column, of paper, newspapers, cartons, etc., which are inserted via its upper part which can be accessed by means of a fold-down lid which has, at the top and horizontally, a slot for the introduction of paper of small size, the lateral walls and the contiguous front part forming individual doors which, in the open position, facilitate the removal of the container and, in the closed position, define a central longitudinal opening over their entire height which facilitates downward manual movement of the paper inserted via the top part of the container at the same time as it allows viewing of the height occupied thereby. <IMAGE>
