A recording card 1 is described, comprising at least two flat card parts 2,3 arranged on top of each other, and at least one electrically conducting, brittle track 4 arranged between the card parts. This track 4 is preferably attached to both card parts 2, 3, and extends in a meandering pattern over the entire card surface. In one embodiment with a relief part 24, the track follows the relief of the recorded information. A recording card of this type according to the invention is particularly resistant to modification of the recorded data by unauthorised parties. In the event of such attempts, the brittle track will break and this can be simply detected by measuring the electrical conductivity between the ends of this track.
