The present invention provides an O-Ring mounted in a square shaped chamber in a housing. The O-Ring contains a groove adapted to move the O-Ring inner bore toward the center of the shaft in response to a pressurized fluid. The chamber is fed by a liquid or a gas. Internal pressure in the housing created primarily by rotation of the shaft, or by a pump from an outside source, feeds fluid to the chamber through openings in the housing, thereby expanding the O-Ring to lightly contact the shaft. This is a major benefit over conventional O-Rings, seals and prior art that enables the O-Ring to provide minimum drag and maximum sealing of internal lubricants for bearing operation. Another major benefit of this self-adjusting O-Ring is that it automatically compensates for wear, increasing its service life to many times that of conventional O-Rings.
