PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption to play an electronic wind instrument or an electronic musical instrument, to which power is supplied by a dry cell or a battery, for a long term. CONSTITUTION:The electronic wind instrument provided with a mouth piece to be held in player's mouth, a tonguing sensor 7 and a breath sensor 13 which detect the playing state of the player, and a microcomputer 1 for control of each part of the device is provided with a mouth sensor 2, which detects the contact state of player's mouth to the mouthpiece, and switching circuits 22 and 23 which supply the power to an LED driver 11, detecting circuits 12 and 14, and/or the microcomputer 1 only at the time of detecting the contact of player's mouth to the mouthpiece by the mouth sensor 2. |
