A process for making a 3 layer (1,2,3) construction panel consists of fixing in shuttering a 1st reinforcement cage (10) with vertical and horizontal bars, pouring concrete leaving vertical bars as starters, placing an expanded polystyrene sheet (2), fixing 2nd cage to starter bars and casting expanded glass balls concrete, before stripping shuttering. The 2nd concrete layer may contain emulsifying & waterproofing agents or fibreglass flakes. The final concrete layer is about the same thickness as the other two together. Panels may be placed perpendicular to one another or side by side with tongues and grooves. USE/ADVANTAGES : Good heat insulation, strength and waterproofing properties, cost effective, easy placing.
