STOCK RESERVATION SYSTEM BY STOCK INQUIRY AND RECEPTION OF ORDER

PURPOSE:To give the stock inquiry and the reservation of the reception of orders to another system from its own system by means of a high speed and inexpensive circuit in a decentralized computer system which contains the stock master files for each base. CONSTITUTION:An input information deciding means 3 decides the validity of the order reception information including a warehouse code and supplied from its own system. An own/another system deciding means 7 decides whether an own system or another system is destined for. When the latter system is decided, a circuit 12 is connected to the system containing a designated warehouse by a circuit control means 11. Then the stock inquiry and the reservation of the reception of orders are carried out. When the input waiting time exceeds a prescribed time, the circuit 12 is forcibly cut and the order reception input and the inquiry processing are discontinued.
