<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and an equipment for transmitting power to a balancer without physical connections and for performing communication between the balancer and its controller. CONSTITUTION: This equipment comprises a balancer 14, a balancer controller 12, a power supply 16, and a power transmitting apparatus 10. The apparatus 10 comprises inductors 18, 20 and a power drive interface 22. Power is transmitted by electromagnetic induction from the inductor 18 to the inductor 20. The balancer 14 has chain bars 36 with heating elements, and their powers are controlled through a chain-bar interface 24. The control signals thereof are transferred from the balancer controller 12 to the balancer 14 via the inductors 18, 20, and the data based on balance situations are also transferred reversely from the balancer 14 to the balancer controller 12. The heatings of the chain bars 36 are controlled by a microprocessor.</p> |
