PURPOSE:To eliminate soiling of the inside of a device resulting from falling of accumulated toner and to make a structure simple, compact and inexpensive by providing an actuation means which reciprocates a carry screw in response to the opening/closing of a cover. CONSTITUTION:When the cover 6 is opened to detach a toner bottle, a hinge 16 abuts on a lever 14 during the opening, and causes the lever 14 to turn counterclockwise. A movable plate 19 with a horizontal part whose front end pin 13 is slid and fitted in the long hole 15 of the lower part of the lever interlocks with the movement, moves to press a gear 8, moves the carry screw 4 in the same direction against the elasticity of a toner seal, and recovers a toner accumulating part A by causing it to fall into the toner bottle 6 from an outlet 20. When the cover 6 is further opened, the hinge 16 is separated from the lever 14, the carry screw 4 returns to the original position by the elasticity of the toner seal 12. Thereafter, the toner bottle is detached, and the toner falls outside the toner bottle at that time. |
