PURPOSE:To correct partial linearity by supplying an optional correction current to a correction coil fitted to a horizontal linearity coil so as to change a magnetic flux of the horizontal linearity coil thereby correcting horizontal deflection by a change in the inductance of the horizontal linearity coil. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal deflection current from a horizontal deflection output circuit 1 flows to a horizontal deflection yoke 2, a horizontal linearity coil 3 and a CS capacitor 4 and since the horizontal linearity coil 3 is a saturable reactor, the current flows or the current is limited depending on the direction of the current and its magnitude. In this case, a magnetic flux is generated from a correction coil 5 by supplying an optional correction current from a correction current generating circuit 6 to the correction coil 5. The magnetic flux of the horizontal linearity coil 3 being the saturable reactor is changed through the generated magnetic flux. The inductance of the horizontal linearity coil 3 is changed by the change in the magnetic flux and the horizontal deflection current is corrected. |
