PURPOSE:To provide a range finding lens which can be mounted on a lens barrel even in the case a base-line length is extremely short by forming plural positioning engaging holes on a position symmetrical to a segment passing through the optical axis of a lens and crossing with a base-line direction and forming a projecting part on one end part of the range finding lens and forming a recessed part which is over lapped by the projecting part so that the end parts of the adjacent range finding lenses may overlap each other. CONSTITUTION:Round holes 26c and 28c of the range finding lens 24 are engaged with pins 30b and 32b of the lens barrel 4 so as to position the range finding lens 24 on the lens barrel 4. Next, the round holes 26a and 28a of the range finding lens 22 are engaged with the pins 30a and 32a of the lens barrel 4 so as to position the range finding lens 22 on the lens barrel 4. At this time, the projecting part 34 of the range finding lens 24 overlaps the recessed part 36 of the range finding lens 22, so that it can be free in a dimension S as long as a width where the projecting part 34 overlaps the recessed part 36. Thus, the range finding lenses 22 and 24 can be mounted on the lens barrel 4 without making each end of the lenses runs against each other even in the case that the base-line length B is extremely short as compared with conventional range finding lenses 2 and 3.
