When the cutting action is operated a number of times, the thread (1) remains fixed in the clamping gap (12). As the next thread (1) is inserted in the clamping gap (12), any residue and clamped thread matter is extracted. USE/ADVANTAGE - The mechanism is for clamping the rear threads in a large embroidery machine. The system gives a multiple cutting action while the trailing threads are clamped, and any residue is removed from the clamping gap for an effective operation.
