DOCUMENT PARTS CONTROLLER FOR STRUCTURIZED DOCUMENT

PURPOSE:To retrieve the inside structure of a document and also to store only the inside structure of the document as a document parts in regard to a document parts controller which is used together with a document processor which edits a structured document. CONSTITUTION:The document parts received by a document parts receiving means 11 is analyzed by a logical structure specifying means 12 for specification of a logical structure. An index generating means 14 takes the document parts out of a document parts holding means 13 and produces an index of the specified logical structure. The index is held by an index holding means 15.
