PURPOSE:To wind a coil densely so that the interval between element wires may be smallest even if the size of an element wire is not fixed and the number of stoppage in the middle of winding is large by controlling the winding so that interval between the element wires may be densest, based on the output pulses of a pulse converter and an element wire width pulse converter. CONSTITUTION:Though a winding drum 4 is rotated by a servomotor 7, the condition of its rotation is converted into pulses by the encoder 8 attached to the end of the winding drum 4, and they are inputted into a pulse converter 9. On the other hand, an elementwidth detector 14 attached to the winding drum 4 detects the width of the element just before the element wire 1 is wound, and it sends the signal to an element-width pulse converter 15, and converts it into the quantity of pulses of deviation from the reference value, and sends it to a pulse converter 9. The pulse converter 9 converts the pulse corresponding to the motion of a drum into the pulses required for traverse shifting, and further adds the quantity of pulses of deviation of the width of element line, and sends it to the servo controller 10 for traverse driving, and it drives the servomotor 11 of a traverser by its pulses, and a control unit 12 controls it. |
