<p>PURPOSE:To provide a normal reproducing signal without a mechanical adjustment by obtaining a phase difference between an ID signal and reference time extracted from the reproducing signal, controlling a drum servo phase corresponding to its phase difference and correcting the reproducing signal. CONSTITUTION:A psuming that a recording signal to be inputted via a recording amplification circuit 1 is recorded on a magnetic tape 3 in a different tape pattern by a recording head 2 whose position adjustment is faulty. In this case, the reproducing signal including the ID signal is read from the tape 3 by a reproducing head 4 whose position is normal and the ID signal is extracted from the reproducing signal reproduced and amplified by a reproducing amplification circuit 5 by an ID signal extraction circuit 6. This ID signal and reference time generated by a reference time generation circuit 7 are compared by a phase comparison circuit 8 and based on its phase difference signal outputted by it, the drum servo phase is controlled by a drum servo circuit 9. Thus, the reproducing signal enters the correction area of a time axis correction circuit 10 and even without the mechanical position adjustment of the head 2, the normal reproducing signal is easily provided.</p> |
