<p>PURPOSE:To improve eliminating ability of jammed paper when paper jamming is generated by improving the processing cartridge used for an electrophotographic device such as a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:Paper guide parts 21, 22, carrying rollers 23, 24, and a cover 25 are provided on a right side surface and top surface of the processing cartridge 20 and a part of the carrying function of form 6 is carried out by them. The cover 25 is attached to the processing cartridge 20 to be able to be rocked around rotational fulcrums O1 and O2 by links 26 and 27. An image carrier 12 is covered by the cover 25 in a state where the processing cartridge 20 is not set to the device main body by the energizing of a spring, etc., against the links 26 and 27 and one part of the part carrying path is formed by a guide 29 of the cover 25 where the cover 25 is positioned between the carrying roller 23 and the image carrier 12 in the state where the device is set to the main body. The jammed paper 19 can be eliminated by only opening a top cover 1 and, if necessary, the right cover 3.</p> |
