PURPOSE:To prevent destruction of performance data already inputted to a memory for performance data by storing information, which indicates whether write is permitted or not, in performance data of each music song to be stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:When write inhibition or its release is set, the operation is performed as follows; a write inhibition switch on an operation panel 14 is depressed the write inhibition mode, and a cursor switch is used to move a cursor, and a dial 16 is operated to input a song number (the dial 16 is turned clockwise to increase the displayed numeric value and is turned counterclockwise to reduce it), and a cursor move switch is used to move the cursor, and the dial 16 is operated to set the write inhibition or its release (the dial 16 is turned clockwise to display 'on' for write inhibition and is turned counterclockwise to display 'off' for release of write inhibition). Thus, destruction of already generated performance data is prevented. |
