<p>PURPOSE:To provide a taximeter capable of executing a taxi fare operation corresponding to a time band by the depression of a single tariff button, switching the charge operation to a proper rate even when a clock gets out of order and executing proper fare giving and receiving without increasing driver's load. CONSTITUTION:A business tariff capable of calculating both of rate traveling and extra charge without distinguish them is set up by a switch on a tariff setter 16. An arithmetic means 10a executes charge operation based upon a pulse generated from a distance pulse generator 17 and a processing setting means 10b sets up rate traveling or extra charge processing by switching operation in accordance with time obtained from a clock 13. An automatic processing switching means 10c automatically switches processing exceeding its time band to the other operation processing and a manual processing switching means 10d switches processing in operating to the other processing by switching operation. At the time of automatic switching, an alarm means 18 generates an alarm and a tariff display 15a on a display device 15 displays the processing so as to identify it.</p> |
