The ejector/extractor mechanism, especially with hammer ejectors linked to catches (G) actuated when the weapon is opened and returned by springs (R), has temporary interlock elements (2) for the catches which can be operated from the outside of the weapon by a knurled wheel (1) located in a slot at the forward end of the stock. Each interlock element comprises tube to receive the return spring (R), interacting with the knurled wheel to set it in the required position for locking, and a slot (2b) in its opposite end to engage with a catch (G).The two tubes are connected by a parallelogram system so that both are operated synchronously by a single knurled wheel, with the system made in the form of a control rod (3) bent into a rectangular U-shape, and a link (4).The knurled wheel can have two recesses which receive a spring-loaded ball in its ejection and locking positions. ADVANTAGE - Design simplicity, with reliable and efficient operation, allowing empty cartridges to be ejected or held in place for manual extraction and retention.
