PURPOSE:To drive a plurality of objects to be driven by moving a traveling body by utilizing progressive waves generated by a piezoelectric body upon which ultrasonic signals are impressed. CONSTITUTION:The progressive waves generated by one piezoelectric body 1 when ultrasonic signals are impressed upon the body 1 are amplified by means of a first and second vibrating body sections 2a and 2b. A first and second traveling bodies 3 and 4 are respectively press-contacted with the first and second vibrating bodies 2a and 2b by means of a first and second pressing bodies 9 and 10. The traveling bodies 3 and 4 are respectively moved by means of the progressive waves from the vibrating body sections 2a and 2b in the direction opposite to the advancing direction of the progressive waves. As the bodies 3 and 4 move, objects (operating sections) 7a and 8a to be driven are respectively driven. Therefore, the objects 7a and 8a to be driven can be driven with a simple constitution. |
