The device includes a frame (1), supporting a floor (17), having two longitudinal parallel grooves (10) in which are positioned two superposed rails (12,13). The rails are of lower height than the depth of the grooves. Between the rails are inserted runners (11) having a low coefficient of friction which allow the upper rail (12) to slide on the lower rail (13) which is longitudinally wedged. The lower rails are placed on tubular inflatable envelopes (14) resting on the bottom of the groove (10) and connected to a compressor. The upper rails (12) are connected by a transverse bar (15) at the centre of which is fixed the rod of a horizontal actuator (16). USE - Easily movable transfer system for pallets onto lorry trailers produced at low cost.
