PURPOSE:To enhance efficiency in assembly and maitenance works by making recesses in a plurality of members for holding piezoelectric elements for longitudinal and torsional oscillations in an ultrasonic motor. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic motor comprises a stator 20 and a rotor 30 press contacting the stator 20 at one end thereof and rotating together therewith wherein the stator 20 comprises piezoelectric elements 70, 90 for longitudinal and torsional oscillations and a plurality of holding members 60, 80, 100 fastened in the axial direction of a holding shaft 40. The holding members 60, 80, 100 are provided, respectively, with jig fastening parts, i.e., recesses 62, 82, 102. |
