摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To judge whether a serum sample is derived from a patient having a specific disease by a method wherein a prescribed coefficient is found regarding a value in the numerical-value range of specific individual parameters and the serum sample is judged on the basis of the combination frequency of coordinate points in a coordinate system. CONSTITUTION:Regarding the population of serum samples of patients having a specific disease, the numerical-value range of individual parameters of TP as the total protein amount in a serum, Al as an albumin demarcation amount in the serum, and alpha1, alpha2, beta, gamma as alpha1, alpha2, beta, gamma-globulin demarcation in the serum. Then, regarding values which can be taken by the individual parameters, individual coefficients M1=TBXAl/(alpha1+alpha2), K1=alpha1/alpha2 and K2=(alpha1+alpha2+beta)/gamma are found. Then, a coordinate system in which the value of M1XK1 takes on the X-axis and the value of M1XK1XK2 takes on the Y-axis is installed and coordinate points in the coordinate system by the individual parameters and the individual coefficients are found. Then, whether the serum sample as an object under test is derived from a patient having a specific disease or not is judged by whether the frequency of the number of combinations in the individual coordinate points is a prescribed number or higher.</p>
