<p>PURPOSE: To improve S/N and to simplify farming method by, relating to an X-ray image formation, providing a conductive supporting layer, a photo-dielectric layer which responds to both chemical ray and X-ray, a dielectric layer which covers the photo-dielectric layer and a conductive micro-plate which is transparent to bath chemical ray and X-ray. CONSTITUTION: A conductive supporting layer 12 is a continuous layer formed of a conductive material having sufficient thickness and hardness as a supporting body for other layers contained in a panel 16. In case with a simple structure, a photo- dielectric layer 8 having bath rear side and front side contacting to the supporting layer 12 is coated on the supporting layer 12. The photo-dielectric layer 8 has a sufficient thickness for absorbing incident X-ray or its substantial part, and it is selected among what are given high light ray detection efficiency. In addition, above the front surface of the photo-dielectric layer 8, a dielectric layer 6 is provided. The dielectric layer 6 is transparent to bath X-ray and chemical ray, while having a sufficient thickness for preventing leakage of electric charges. Then, a micro-plate 4 is accessed and an X-ray latent image obtained in the panel 16 in the form of storage electric charge is farmed, for reading.</p> |
