AUTOMATIC OPTICAL SWITCHING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To pull out an optional 2nd optical connector with no intertwinement to other optical fiber core wires by using a robot arm which moves along the optical fiber core wire connected to the 2nd optical connector. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a robot arm 5 moves to a position where an optical fiber core wire 3C provided at the input side of an optical fiber core line array board 2. Then the wire 3C is held by the tip of the arm 5 and held as it is. Under such conditions, the tip of the arm 5 is moved along the locus of the wire 3C and moved up to the position of a desired input-side optical connector 4C. Meanwhile the connector 4C is held and the arm 5 is moved back in the direction vertical to an optical connector array board 1. Then the pulled-out connector 4C of the wire 3C is connected to a specific output-side optical connector of the board 1.
