PURPOSE:To enable stable optical communication even when there is any obstacle between an optical transmitter and a receiver or when the optical transmitter is moved. CONSTITUTION:In plural optical transmitters 10, the means of an LED 17 is provided to respectively modulate carriers of mutually different frequencies by signals to be transmitted, to convert them to optical signals and to transmit them. In a receiver 20, respective optical signals transmitted from plural optical transmitters 10 are received by a reception head 21 composed of one photodiode array 22 at least, and the received signals are separated and demodulated at every frequency of the carrier so that the signals transmitted from all the optical transmitters 10 can distinctly be extracted. |
