PURPOSE:To provide the picture processor which performs an optimum filter processing in accordance with the spatial frequency of an output picture. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal read by a picture input device 101 is stored in a buffer 102 for digital filter processing. A picture output device 107 can change the output frequency to an output frequency selected on the outside or an output frequency in the picture processor, and a CPU 104 senses it. The CPU 104 reads out a filter coefficient corresponding to the selected output frequency from a ROM 105 and sets it to a digital filter processing circuit 103. This circuit 103 uses the set filter coefficient to perform the digital filter processing. |
