PURPOSE:To allow the automatic setting of accurate time data by converting time data outputted from a standard radio wave receiver, which demodulates standard radio wave received by an antenna to produce the time data, into an input signal format for clock circuit and outputting the converted data. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 2 receives standard radio wave which is then fed to a standard radio receiver 3. The standard radio wave employs a cesium frequency standard. The standard radio receiver 3 demodulates the standard wave to produce a time data which is fed to a signal converting circuit 4. The signal converting circuit 4 converts the input time data into time data format(digital) of an MPU (microprocessor) 1 according to the input signal system of a clock circuit 1a and delivers the converted time data to the MPU 1. Since a TV receiver is constituted such that the time data is set automatically for the clock circuit 1a, an accurate time data can be obtained without requiring manual time setting of user. |
