PURPOSE:To prevent oil from being discharged during installation and removal of an oil filter by providing an oil filter at a specific position in the vicinity of an outboard engine, by means of a bracket. CONSTITUTION:An engine casing 20 is composed of a lower casing 22 and an upper casing 24. A four-cycle engine 36 is located, the crank shaft 34 thereof being vertically directed, in a space 32 defined in the engine casing 20. Further, an oil filter 50 is provided in the vicinity of the engine 36, by means of a bracket 48, the center of an attaching shaft 50c of the oil filter 50 is vertically directed. Further, a part of the oil filter 50 is positioned above the upper end face 22a of the lower oil casing 22. Thus, completely no risk of oil leakage occurs during installation and removal of the oil filter, thereby it is possible to enhance the workability. |
