PNEUMATIC BRAKE BOOSTER AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING ITS JUMP

PURPOSE: To adjust a jump in a pneumatic brake booster after the assembly of the booster is completed. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 30 where one 26 of the two seats of a three way valve is formed at an end part is arranged around a plunger 12. A spring separates the sleeve 30 and the plunger 12 and the sleeve 30 abuts on a member 36 on a control rod 10. The seats 24 and 26 are arranged on the planes of similar radius direction and the position of the member 36 is fixed. The control rod 10 is displaced so that a prescribed gap is provided between a reaction disk 16 and the plunger 12 and the member 36 is fixed to the control rod 10. Thus, the jump of a booster can arbitrarily be set.
