PURPOSE:To provide a heat-resistant insulated wire having an electrical insulating cover excellent in heat resistance, little in defects even at high temps. and high in strength. CONSTITUTION:A coating film comprising a binder made of a polysilazane having recurring units of the formula (wherein R1 and R2, which may be either the same or different, are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkylamino group, an aryl group, or an alkylsilyl group) and an inorg. filler is formed on an electric conductor, and fired to convert the binder into a ceramic to thereby form a ceramic cover integrated with the inorg. filler. |
