<p>PURPOSE:To check real or forgery of a magnetic recording medium such as a commuter pass, a credit card, etc., with an infrared ray. CONSTITUTION:A metal thin film is distributed at random on a magnetic film of a magnetic recording medium to form a real or forgery checking region. The thin film is desirably formed in a continuous mesh state distributed at random or dispersively distributed except continuous meshlike nonmetallic part distributed at random. Thus, reading and checking with an infrared ray of magnetic record can be performed from the same surface side to obtain a magnetic recording medium in which its forgery is extremely difficult. Particularly, the thin film is dispersively distributed in the continuous mesh state or except the continuous meshlike nonmetal part to obtain the medium in which erroneous decision does not occur even if a scanning line is slightly deviated, thereby accurately deciding real or forgery.</p> |
