<p>PURPOSE:To separate mist accompanied with an exhaust gas and trap acid, alkali, etc., in the mist by mounting a filter consisting of a fibrous ion exchanger and providing an absorption liq. spraying pipe to the filter as a regenerating means of the fibrous ion exchanger. CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust gas absorption apparatus wherein an acid or an alkali water soln. is used as an absorption liq. in a packed bed 4, filters 8 and 9 each consisting of a fibrous ion exchanger are mounted on the gas exhaust side. The second absorption liq. spraying pipe 10 is provided to the filter 8 as a regenerating means of the fibrous ion exchanger. In addition, a fibrous cation exchanger with -SO3H as an exchanging group and/or a fibrous cation exchanger with COOH or a fibrous anion exchanger with a quat. ammonium group are solely used to an ordinary alkaline exhaust gas or acidic exhaust gas. If necessary, it is possible to use these fibrous ion exchangers by combining them.</p> |
