PURPOSE:To reduce NO density without any increase of fuel comsumption rate by providing a denitration device on a recirculation piping by which a part of combustion exhaust gas is returned to the entrance side of a combustion chamber so that returning exhaust gas can be guided to be passed. CONSTITUTION:A nitroxide density reduction device by exhaust gas circulation is composed of the upper stream part 8 of a recirculation piping, a recirculation system denitration device 6, the downstream part 9 of a recirculation piping and a blower 5. Return exhaust gas C is guided to the recirculation system denitration device 6 through the upper stream part 8 of the recirculation piping. This return exhaust gas C, whose NO density is reduced by receiving the denitration during passing through the recirculation system denitration device 6 so as to become low NO return exhaust gas D, is returned to an intake side manifold 2 through the downstream part 9. The denitration material-of the recirculation denitration device 6 is composed of fine wires made of carbon fiber, platinum and the like in the shape of felt, cloth, mat and the like. It is favourable that the surface in contact with exhaust gas is covered by a wire netting. |
