PURPOSE:To provide the eye pointer which can detect a visual line direction and is practically usable without requiring a large-scale image processing system and without requiring fixing of the head. CONSTITUTION:A visual line detecting means 31 emits visual line detecting light to the eyeball 11. The reflected light of the visual line detecting light from the eyeball 11 is made incident via a prescribed optical path. This detecting means detects the direction of the visual line 11A in accordance with the deviation from a preset reference point. The angle of a light source for detecting the visual line is so changed that the visual line detecting light is made incident on the center of curvature of the cornea 12 of the eyeball 11. A visual line indicating means 32 emits visual line indicating light 34 toward a target 33 from a light source for indicating the visual line. The angle of the light source for indicating the visual line changes as well cooperatively with the angle change of the light source for detecting the visual line and the visual line indicating light 34 is emitted at the angle corresponding to the change in the visual line direction. The irradiation point on the target 33 with the visual line indicating light 34 corresponds to the visual part by the eyeball 11. The visual line 11A direction is indicated by the irradiation point with the visual line indicating light 34. |
