PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording device wherein non-image information of ID information recorded close to image information can be confirmed simply as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording device 20 comprises an adhesion means 32 and a laser scanning optical system 40. The adhesion means 32 adheres a light reflection type thermal recording material 30 to be supplied from a thermal recording material supply section 28 in accordance with selection to a light transmission type thermal recording material 26. The laser scanning optical system 40 irradiates the light transmission type thermal recording material 26 in which image information is to be recorded and the light reflection type thermal recording material 30 in which non-image information is to be recorded with a laser beam L for supplying a predetermined heat energy in accordance with information to be recorded. |
