<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to jack and bury a pipe by supporting a succeeding pipe in a state positioned accurately and easily at the rear end of a buried pipe when jacking and burying pipes underground one by one from a shaft. CONSTITUTION:After having jacked and buried a pipe Pa underground by means of a jack 4, a movbale pipe receiving base 6c of a front side pipe receiving device 6 is placed into contact with the both sides at the rear end of the pipe Pa, thereby measuring a rear side pipe axis of the buried pipe Pa. The both sides at the front end are supported with the movable pipe receiving base 6c which is moved to the position whose movement variable is equivalent to the measurement variable while a movable pipe receiving base 7c of a pipe receiving device 7 at the rear side is adjusted so that a pipe core of a succeeding pipe Pb may aligh with the center of a contact frame 4b of the jack device 4 when the succeeding pipe Pb is loaded on the movable pipe receiving base 7c. Then, after the succeeding pipe Pb is loaded on the front and the rear side pipe receiving devices 6 and 7, the succeeding pipe Pb is connected to the buried pipe Pa by driving the jack device 4.</p> |
